i meant to write this post before. epn endorses bob rae for leader of the liberal party. i'm hoping that my late endorsement won't effect the voting outcome this weekend. lol
i'm always liked bob rae. i think that his difficult time as premier of ontario was due to the economic circumstance of the time. his decisions in that government angered many groups, but were based progessive policy that was for the greater good of the province.
bob rae is a combination of what all the top liberal leadership hopefuls are. bob rae is an academic, and has strength in creating public policy. dion and ignatieff are also academics. rae, like kennedy is strong in social policy, he chaired the air india inquiry, and ontario's higher education report. rae like dion has government experience in a leadership role, and he can learn from past mistakes. rae speaks french and has the ability to draw voters from across the country.
