so i'm here in waterloo, ontario and finally got internet. i was going crazy because i couldn't check my mail and surf the web yesterday. anyways waterloo reminds me of mountain view, california. sparse city with lots of greenery. high tech companies. lots of residential, 15 min of rush hour, lots of people jogging outside. i'm only on day 2, but i think i'll survive here for the summer.
td canada trust has these new atm desposit envelopes that don't require licking to seal them. this is great. in the past in order to seal the envelope, i would spit on my hand, then rub my hand on the evelope to seal. or i brought extra envelopes home and sealed them at home using water.
i saved an easy $9 last week. the bottom of my shoe was falling off and the guy in chinatown said it would cost $10 to glue it back. ridiculous. this is chinatown. anyways i bought the strongest glue at the dollar store and spent 1 min gluing my sole back. after 24hrs of shoe wear, the glue is still holding well.
