problem. i'm looking at the bios of the team of vcs at kleiner perkins. i think attending u of t will be my career limiting move. all attended harvard or standford business school. they also went to engineering schools at mit/standard/berekley. nobody has u of t on their resume. john doerr did ee at rice which is probably worse than of u of t, but then john doerr also helped create the first microprocessor.
