i saw york region's new super buses - "viva". i wish the ttc was like that. the only problem i noticed is that the bus was completely empty. this reminds me of an interesting comment i heard about why its better to drive to work downtown. this guy was saying that he normally goes home at 11pm and that when he takes the bus he is often the only one on it. he goes on to say that he feels guilty that they pay a driver and operate a bus just to drive him around.

so i was catching up on princess s' blog and the ladder theory comments. they have a lengthy discussion going on about its merits. anyways i was thinking that they should create a social networking site in which ladder theory is the basis. think of friendster but instead girls can put their guy/girl friends in order on the proper ladder. that way guys can see which ladder they are on and there are no "suicide jumps" etc. think of it as a feedback system. guys - if you are on too many "wrong" ladders you now know and can corrective action.

After reading this post, I made a couple calls regarding your idea. Turns out GajCo Inc. is enthusiastic about financing this venture. Please contact the UofT Centre for Ladder Theory Research, New Building, New College, Room 627, and we'll go from there!
