in my class entitled "integrative thinking" we are studying the psychology of decision making. the prof - somon has rules when it comes to making decisions.
rule 14- "if you would be doing it in the future, you probably should be doing it now!"
this makes a lot of sense - we should be exercising, saving money and i should be studying now. on the other hand there are flaws that i didn't point out to him in class. one day i "would" use hair loss treatment, viagara and drive around my future kids in a minivan. i'm sure i'm not suppose to be doing those things now.

me 10 minutes ago: in the very near future i want to punch the girl beside me in the face.
but now she is gone.
you are right: i should have done it back then.

clarification: this is a random girl who pissed me off at the library. it does not refer to anyone i work with or know.
