re: undercover cops shooting at people.
in london on friday and in toronto a while back, over zealous undercover cops killed a civilian "suspect". pretend you are visible minority walking down the street. 2 large caucasian males start chasing you. they yell that they are police. yeah right. and i'm santa claus. i'm running as fast as i can.
re: being vigilant on the subway to prevent terrorism.
so basically you are being told to be suspicious and watch carefully anyone who is not of european decent. chinese people should be okay too for now, since we (chinese people) don't fit the terrorist profile yet. that is until we (canada/united states) start annoying china... then they (the right wing of canadian government) will think we (chinese people) are spies. apparently the canadian government is already accusing china of having spies who live in toronto chinatown.

Do you honestly believe there are no Chinese spies in Toronto??
I think that's the fundamental difference between Indians and Chinamen. Chinese are always ready to steal secrets from the west and give back to China, where as every Indian's dream is to give up Indian secrets to impress the White Man.
