random.. for some reason i'm talking about fashion.

i was getting rid of winter clothes and i managed to make a no so nice pair of cargo pants into a nice pair cargo shorts. i don't know why this makes me so happy.. i wanted to do the same thing to an old pair of jeans, but this give me scary thoughts of the village people in the ymca video. question - can guys wear capris? like non-tight fitting 3/4 length pants. i have a pair of draw string pants that don't work as long pants, and wouldn't work as shorts... 3/4 length would be a compromise...ha.

as for my colleagues here (hydro one) who are on strike... i say 2 months of picketing. which means i'll be in this relatively empty office for another 7 1/2 weeks.

guys who talk about fashion are awesome. guys who do custom fashion are awesome-r. :)

male 3/4 capris are definitely doable, if you wear it right. they are all over europe. north am is slow.

since you are cutting the capris from pants, i believe the key is fringes around the rim to make you look non-gay. ie make the rim area ripped. the more ripped the better. also, put rips on other parts of the capri (eg above kness) for added maleness and uniqueness.

moreover, i don't recommend running shoes under capris. that only works for women. sandals or even better, flip flops. ae has a really good male flip flop collection this season despite the generic-ness.

I believe men's 3/4 length pants are called 'floods'. I think they actually sell this stuff at the GAP right now. So if somebody's selling these pants, then people are probably are wearing them! So no worries, wear yours! =)
