i've been saving air miles, hoping that by foregoing instant gratification, my patience would pay off with something good - plasma tv, free trip. i've now decided that saving air miles is stupid and that i'm going to spend all my air miles. i've had the amex air miles credit card for 4 years. i always gassed up at shell to get air miles and use my amex whenever possible. so far i've saved up enough for 1cd and 1 dvd, or a $50 gap gift certificate, or random junk - binoculars, magazine suscriptions, etc. in order for me to go on a 1 person trip somewhere, i need at least 20 times as many air miles as i have now. at the current rate, europe trip - 80 years, tv - 30 years, or hockey stick and blue jays tickets - now.
