i finally read naomi kliein's no logo - 6/10. this book would have been relavent maybe 5 years ago, but coporate bashing and sweatshop protests seemed to have died down in recent years. kliein points out that its depressing to go to the mall and try to figure the clothes you are looking at are made in sweatshops or it the brands practice good coporate ethics. i think 5 years after her book, people would rather just drink their starbucks and wear their nikes.

anyways good quotes - from a McDonald's libel suit against 2 unemployed activists. "McDonald's executive Ed Oakley explained that the McDonald's garbage stuffed into landfills is 'a benefit, otherwise you will end up with lots of vast empty gravel pits all over the country' "

"David Green, SR VP of marketing, expressed his opinion that Coca Cola is nutrious because it is ' providing water and i think that is part of balanced diet' ".

Comments:
I had a good quote from House! But I forgot it. Don't worry, I'll make you watch it, but you won't suffer because it's sooooo much better than Grey's Anatomy. Jinzi said that you probably like watching it for the main character. >_<
Or for Sandra Oh. @_@
