after my mom/dad cook dinner they pour the left over oil and fat into a jar. when the jar gets full it goes into the garbage. anyways the jar full of used oil and fat is actually quite pleasing to look at, so i saved this particular one from this fate. this oil/fat fusion might even be considered as art. anyways jw posted the oil/fat art on ebay. we'll see what happens.

fred's not here. restaurant was only 1/2 full on valentine's - which is not good. anyways i had the kobe beef burger - which ended up being a good hamburger - but not worth the $20 they charged for it. 6/10.

of other interest - jc got me a blue rose. i think thats kinda cool. thanks. i think they just dipped a white rose in dye though, because the blue rose also has blue leaves. this spring i'm going to throw a rose bush in my backyard and hope my mom takes care of it. then i can just use them for mother's day [sic], birthdays, anniversaries, etc. ha. you can acuse me of being cheap, but isn't it more thoughtful/sentimental/etc to put the effort into growing your own roses that to paying some farm in brazil to do it for you? not only this, but you save like $50 for every dozen you grow.
