so yesterday for the second time, jt had me all in with my pocket kings. for the second time, he took me out. at least this time he had aces. i had the gut feeling he had it too. last time, he has 4-4 and flops the set... which is probably why i called this time. shouldn't have been all in, i was among the chip leaders.
amigos steakhouse (midland and steeles), 7/10. you think its mexican food or themed, but its really a chinese run steakhouse with a menu and decor isn't really mexican. good deal, for $20 you get soup, salad, 14oz prime rib, and cheesecake. the prime rib was an excellent portion and tender. however the freshness of the other food is questionable - the bread was toasted, and the salad was completely drenched in dressing.
in good company, 5/10. it provided entertainment, but not something that is artistic or has a message.
