i highly recommend the picasso exhibit at the utoronto art centre. this last week has been free for UT students, but $16 for the general public. anyways if you are ever planning to visit the UT gallery, now would be the time. picasso's ceremic art reflects a pretty strange and maybe even disturbed individual. some of his works look like they could have been done by 5 year olds. on the other hand, some pieces are very good. i especially liked the ones that had a sense of irony, ie a plate in which he paints the food on it, or a flower vase in which he paints the flowers on it.
