observations on groups

1.

in groups where the members have no choice in member selection, groups of 3 or more, tension is inevitable. i will refer to this as a random group.

first let's examine groups of less than 3 but more than 1. in forced selected groups of 2, the group members might get along. they might have common interests, they have to deal directly with their problems. arranged marriages sometimes work. sometimes they don't.

in groups of 3 or more, a non ananomous decision of will occur. members will side with each other. tensions will arise, because it is likely that random humans put together in groups will not get along. a struggle for leadership will ensue. group member will social loaf (another topic in itself)

the group selection pool of these random groups will be a key issue. i will discuss later.
