2 new expressions i learned today
pollyanna - "not to be pollyanna about it" - apparently it is a derogatory term aimed at those who are cheerfully optimistic
herding cats - which i heard as "hurting a cat". i was wondering - why is the prof talking about hurting cats. but apparently cats are independent and difficult to herd.
