no longer a fan of the toronto star. i get paper copies of all 3 major canadian dailies at school, and in the beginning i stuck to reading just the toronto star. i viewed the star as a liberal newspaper for the people, and myself as a man of the people. i started reading the globe for its business section. then for some reason they stopped providing the star for a week. now that the star is back, i realize that it is such crap compared to the globe. there are so many b.s. articles - like anything rosie dimanno writes. research has indicated that the star is written at a grade 8 level and the globe at a grade 11. i'm taking up the globe and am now viewing myself as a part of the elite group of people with a grade 11 reading ability.
