during last night's home opener, toronto maple leafs captain mats sundin sustained a serious eye injury and had to be hospitalized. i'd normally feel bad in a situation like this, but i don't in this case. he's an idiot! he should be wearing a visor or face mask. mats was around when his teammate bryan berard lost an eye. he was there when team members gary valk, darcy tucker and owen nolan injured their eyes. mats sundin had a previous serious eye injury last season. so if mats sundin doesn't play again because he has no eye, no sympathy from me. smokers are smarter than mats sundin. normally after a smoker is "cured" of lung cancer they stop smoking.
