hydro one strike day 16. getting kind of lonely in the office. right now the ontario power demand is at 25 728 MW, which is already record breaking. the peak is expected at 5pm when everyone turns on their a/c at home - the prediction is for 26 000 MW. i say odds are 10% for blackouts. that is if the demand is like this for 10 consecutive days, 1 day will have a noticible power interruption for a lot of people. i advise trying to avoid being on the subway at 5pm on days where demand is high...

yes, but yesterday i worked out, so i got on the subway at around 6:30. anyways today i'm going to chance it at 5pm just to show the confidence i have in the power system
