as you probably have noticed, i changed my blog template. i think this looks cleaner, and its better for those of you who read this at work. the white background doesn't scream that you are fooling around on the internet.
live 8. its good that they are raising poverty awareness. but why is everyone in toronto making a big deal about 35000 people attending a free concert with average performers in barrie? the rolling stones can sell out skydome (50000 people), so 35000 is not really that many people. second of all there are many free concerts - beaches jazz fest, much music video awards. this year with ashley simpson and the black eyed peas, the much music video awards gives the barrie live 8 lineup of brian adams, our lady peace and the barenaked ladies a run for their money. in the meantime the london, england live 8 concert features bands that actually sell records - u2, elton john, pink floyd, joss stone, paul mccartney, coldplay, mariah carey
