paul martin is trying to avoid an election that is going to happen eventually, looking bad in the process. he cancelled "opposition days" this month to avoid any chance of a non confidence motion in his government.
anyways what he should do now requires some balls, not dithering. tomorrow he can shake the "dithering" label which is becoming a huge liability. he should walk into the house of commons and table a his own confidence motion. martin should play chicken with stephen harper right then and there. tell harper to cut the rhetoric and to defeat the government tomorrow. harper gets no more time to ponder when he's going to defeat the government, or whether he can win an election. martin needs to make harper put his political career on the line tomorrow.
