happy new year
happy new year everyone. last year was a good one, but whats with all the lists the media makes up? there's like every feels the need to review the top 10 movies, world events, dumbest hockey goals, ugliest plants, etc. enough already.
yesterday was pretty good, started off by winning, then losing at poker and coming out even. then the drinking games at the lounge including playing poker with dice.. where folding before the "flop" costs 1/4 glass and raises got up to 7 glasses at one point. need to start quitting when i'm ahead. ha.
i read something about people advocating changing the calendar. instead of 365 days, each year will have 364 days, 13 months of 4 weeks each. with this method, every date will always fall on the same day each year. they propose that the 365th day be converted into a "null" day. where is no day or date. seems like a good idea..
