so i had a chance to go to lucky strike - its the new bowling alley at the vaughan mills mall. apparently its some big thing in hollywood frequented by celebrities. its beyond me why they choose to put a franchise in vaughan. i can assure you, there is nothing in vaughan and there are no celebrities who live there or who would go there. so anyways this place its more like a lounge opposed to a bowling alley. instead of the typical plastic chairs, there are leather sofas, tons of big tvs, nice lighting. plus they bring food to your table/bowling lane. the question is - who eats food and bowls? on your hands you get chicken wing grease mixed with bowling ball grease. nice.
lucky strike also has a 21 and over policy at night - strange since 19 year olds can drink here. we were all over 21, but when pressed further the doorman actually pointed out that it is actually a no "thugs" or no unphotogenic girls under 21 policy. i.e. if you think you're a gansta and wear baggy pants and chains, then you need to be over 21. i think i like that rule...
